Windows CE is a very limited operating system so the version of IE won't display modern websites particularily well, and the ARM processor is only powerful enough to display the most limited of web sites. I wouldn't expect any flash animations, and if you did manage somehow manage to get them working they would be slow!

Plus software options are limited, don't expect a high volume of good apps, you're pretty much stuck with what you have there.

If I were in the market for something like this I'd go for the cheaper 4gb Eee PC £153.44 inc delivery at ebuyer (http://www.ebuyer.com/product/138169). Far more powerful, much better O/S (you can even put XP on it), wide selection of applications - just an all round better purchase.

Excellent point.

If you can find an Acer Aspire One for £179 go for it! I wouldn't even bother looking at this one - you'd be a fool not to pay the extra twenty notes for the Acer.

The cheapest I've seen it for is £199.99ish, but even so, you're much, much, MUCH better off spending the extra £40 and get the Acer, you wont regret it!

I put Windows XP on a Linux 8GB Acer Aspire One and it works brilliantly. Don't waste your £££ on this or Asus 701 - get the Acer Aspire One.

Very limited unit but you can buy/trial mobile Opera for it.

1000 times better than mobile IE.

Only buy if you need the weight saving. Useless compard to the others.

Windows CE????

This is just a glorified mobile phone...without the phone

You might be better going for a NokiaN95 or an iPhone if you're this way inclined (i.e. not too bothered about your computer being able to working with all web sites).

You can get a *lot* better for this price, and from better retailers than What Every Woman Wants...sorry, I mean Robert Dyas...I get confused because they're about the same in my eyes.

Might be worth going for because of the weight but the size is the same as the eee and because of the processor and operating system you won't be able to install most software on it.
