Dolce Gusto Latte - is it nice coffee?

POSTED BY: tessb 1 year, 2 months ago

Ok, I'm a sucker for ads, and now I have to have one of these coffee machines. Problem is, Iike latte, and these little boyos use milk powder to make the latte. This sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. I hate those Nescafe cappucino things with the milk already in, yuk yuk yuk. So, has anyone tried a latte from one of these uber cute little machines? Is there anywhere you can go and buy a coffee made in one to try it out first?

They are soooooooo cute and sweet, I need one!!!!

Hi i got one of these machines from Bzz and some free sachets and glasses. In return i had to market (ie Bzz) the product generating opinion whether positive or negative. The feedback i got was that it was very easy and quick to use and clean and that as long as you didn't pour too much water through the coffee capsules then it also tasted quite good. My brother loves latte and he said that it is very good. Like you he hates powdered milk and was very sceptical. However he was convinced in the end.

My wife thought it looked very stylish and was amazed at how it instantly heated the water. I would recommend it.

I think they retail for about £70-80.00 but Makro are doing them for £50.00 plus vat. Mine is in a cupboard as i don't drink coffee. I don't have a box but if you want i could sell it to you along with a box of capsules. I don't know how much p&p would be( it isn't that big) but i could easily come to some deal.

PM me if you (or anybody) is interested.

I've got one too-its great-really fast to use and tastes lovely.........i use the sachet things for the coffee and add real milk or cream-if you put a bit of milk in a small bottle (with a lid on) and shake it like made it comes out all frothy and makes a brill top to latte.

I got some chocolate/cinnamin sprinkles too to add to the top-its just like being in a cafe!

It is white and i do have the box after all. My wife put it in box before storing it with the frothy machine, the ice cream maker and the food mixer. Let me know if you are interested. I don't drink coffee so a reasonable offer will be accepted (or negotiated).

Otherwise as i said they are just under £60 in Makro at moment or £70 on amazon. Go on. You know you want to.

I have one of these in black and silver and they are very stylish. You can pick them up dirt cheap (got mine for Christmas last year at about £100) and get a free welcome box which includes some capsules and a free glass or two.
Great machine! The "Iced Cappucinos" are very nice and so too is the "Mocha".

They're less than £60 in Makro atm, which is a bargain, but I'm waiting to find out how much stevie wants for his before I head off to Makro cos when I get there I always end up buying tubs and tubs of Haribo :(

Not great at haggling so looking for about £25 plus p&p. Not sure how much it would be but i will only charge exactly what it costs. Will ask wife to cost it tomorrow. It looks very durable and i don't reckon it will need much packaging.

I also had some £20 off vouchers. I wil have a look but i think i either gave them away already or they were out of date

Hope that sounds reasonable. No point in selling it for any less. Got a couple of weddings in next few weeks
