FOUND BY: zoopakev 1 year, 2 months ago

Was asked to find someone the cheapest / decent 50'' HD TV. Came up with this Good looking Samsung Plasma. Theres a £25 off voucher to take off the £679 on the pixmania website. By the time they add £20 for delivery it comes to £674. Take off 4% quidco off and its down to £647. I know theres better types of tv / screens / makes out there now but this seems good for the money.

High quality graphics are yours for the taking with the Samsung PS50A456P! This plasma screen will keep you entertained for hours with beautifully bright and fluid images in high definition. You can also turn it into a real entertainment centre using its extensive connections system, which includes three HDMI sockets and two scart sockets for hooking up your Blu-ray player, games console or Home Cinema system. The PS50A456P comes with an outstanding contrast rate of 20,000:1 and an anti-glare coating, as well DNIe Plus and 100 Htz technologies for sharp video and sound. Intense blacks and pure colours are rendered perfectly too, and a digital tuner searches for channels from the moment you turn it on. The Samsung PS50A456P is a much better way of watching your favourite films and TV programmes.

Not 50" there isn't

Nearly bought this a couple of weeks back from them, it was even cheaper then by nearly £20. Price seems to fluctuate alot on pixmania.

Personally I would get it from crompton & moore for £669 with 3yrs warranty. Although delivery is more but there local for me so not a problem. John lewis were doing them for £699 with 5 year warranty not long ago but they should price match with crompton, £669 with 5 yr warranty would be a good deal.

From what I've heard of them, I wouldn't buy from Pixmania, they often use Euro imports and warranties have been an issue.

Everything I've bought from them has had a 2 pin continental plug fitted, which is illegal to supply in this country, yet they just ignore my emails. So yes, I can beleive that there would be a problem when it comes to warranties.
