Seems to be cheap as chips mega-capacity replacement battery for a whole series of eeepcs.

Specs are slim and it only comes in black so far, but this is far cheaper than the clover ones.

Thich high capacity heavy duty battery pack
- 10400mAh 7.4V (77Wh) ultra-high capacity for super long runtime hours per charge
- Operating temperature: 0'C ~ 60'C

I have found that DealExtreme claims for battery capacity can be wildly inaccurate. Recently I bought a WiiFit battery pack claiming to be 2800mAh. Having received it, it contains AAA cells which are likely to be no more than 900mAh.

That can be true, but DX basically claim what their manufacturers tell them, so without testing and community feedback we just don't know.

At the very least, it'll be on a par with those currently sold on ebay, and it's cheaper than there, so it might be worth a punt, especially since you'll be paying around £80 for a proper 5200/6600 one.

Better to get a branded battery. These cheap batteries may work OK when you first get them, but they'll fail much earlier than you would expect.

7/8/9 series?

There is no 8-series, and the 900 and 901 use different shape battery packs so this is probably only going to fit the 900 in the 9-series.

The 801 was the same as the 701 but with a 8" screen but still at 800x480. The decided not to roll it out as they were working on the 900. There are some 801 in china that were made for testing maybe a few hundred but who knows. Don't think you will see any as they all had Chinese key layout.

Seems the same as the ones that are been sold on ebay so here are the specs from ebay.
As for the capacity if the 4 cell is 4400mAh and the 6 cell 6600mAh and from the Wh It looks like a 8 cell so only expect 8800mAh.
