This is a deal for all you folks who took up the Shure SE110 £24.99 offer.
I bought this little amp a couple of months back after reading about it online. I'm still amazed at the volume boost and bass improvement it gives when listening through my Shure E2C's.

It's available in white or black and comes with a 3.5mm interconnect to hook it up to your mp3 player of choice. It takes 1 AAA battery and is pretty small. Not much bigger than the battery itself.

Audiophiles may scoff and dismiss it as 'cheap chinese junk' but for £4.62 ($8.50) delivered, I seriously doubt you'll get more bang for your buck. Have a shifty at some of the forum comments and reviews about it online. It's building a bit of a cult following.

sod that...is this any good..will it work with my sennheiser mx 70 (green ones with band that goes behind ur head) cos in gym ipod is very quiet...will this make ipod louder? thanks

This will work with any headphones which have a 3.5mm jack (size of jack on an iPod).

There's no volume control, it's just plug and play. There's a small red LED which comes on when you plug your earphones in. To switch it off, all you do is unplug your earphones.

It gives a significant volume boost with better, smoother bass. It doesn't double your volume, but offers a significant increase. I have my player volume far lower when listening with the amp.

If you're using it in the gym you might want to get some sticky-backed velcro or some other solution to hold it to your iPod as it goes in-line with the headphones, as shown in the second pic I posted.

I use one of these for boosting volume on my "helmet speakers" when riding the motorbike. I've tried it with my Shure E2C earphones, but with the excess cable/components is a bit cumbersome when at the gym.
Good value for a fiver.
