If you dont mind getting a pre-owned console then this seems a good price. not currently online to order but you can get them in the shop (saw one in Maidenhead)

Admitably more of a lukewarm deal as I feel the Game deal of the premium 60GB for £169.99 with one game is a better offer, but good if you are after an Elite!

So what's the difference between the elite and the premium 60gb version?

I'm not really clued up on if this is a good 'pre-owned' price but I personally would spend a little more and go for a deal like this:

XBOX 360 Elite + Star Wars 'The Force Unleashed' £229.00
http://www.game.co.uk/Xbox360/Hardwa...ashed/?s=elite

I know it's £50.00 more but this is a brand new £40.00 game so really you are only paying £10.00 more for a brand new console + I am not sure how the warranty works on a pre-owned console.

Avoid the RROD by making sure it has a 175W power supply (it states this on the outside of the box) - which indicates a "Falcon" chipset, which I believe is less prone to the RROD than previous versions.

I voted cold on this one, as for me the better deal was instore at gamestation.

A new elite for £229-99 with the wireless network adaptor and 3 months gold membership card.

I am not sure if this offer is still on, as I bought mine a couple of weeks ago.

+ High quality HDMI cable with Audio out

I would not touch a pre owned 360 or PS3, I agree with Tiny Spider pay the extra and go for the New Elite with a game, then sell the game to recover some of the difference. That way you get a whole new system and you know that you will have the new reliable and quite 360 and very soon you will be able to install games to the Hard drive so no dvd noise either...

I've had my 203v and its never crashed on me or had any other probs. I've had it for a long time too.

[Probably now that I've said this I'll turn it on tonight and I'll get the RROD pmsl]
