Would some kind soul tell me whats the best type of DVD for backing up movies, data etc?
any of the infiniti dvd-r or dvd+r will be fine depending on which format your recorder supports.

i think verbatim are the best quality discs but they are more expensive and are probably cheapest at play.com

Great find!

I usually buy my blank media from SVP, who are cheap but the delivery charges make the purchase that bit too expensive.

Plus SVP use Citylink who are completly incompetent where I live (Newcastle). I ended up having an order returned to SVP because the delivery man hadn't bothered to provide a calling slip. I only found out when I tracked it online, to then see it had been sent back to supplier!

You can surrently get 50 Verbatim CD-R's for £4.99 from Poundstretcher/Instore, which is less than 10p/disc.
Anyone tested the quality of these Infiniti CD-R's and can report back??
