I have a 10-way tower one that seems a bit less bulky and obviously has more sockets but this is kinda cool in black. It would be more hidden with a black AV unit.

They have orange indicator light to show they are working + Green earth indicator.

Not sure if it still applies but I had one where the indicator light was not working - I rang Belkin who said send it back for a free replacement - pretty good

Isn't the orange light just a power light? The green light is a neon connected to earth to show the socket is earthed.

The orange LED shows earthed, the green one lets you know it's protected. When the green one has gone out in the past it's usually been a socket problem, rather than the protector. When the orange one went out I contacted Belkin which they replaced without a problem last time around.

That they don't last forever? Yeah, I see that by some posts about the light going out. But I also see that by ringing up Belkin, they gave a free replacement because of its failure.

Just bought the last one in Homebase Battersea, thanks!

While there I noticed that they are now doing a promotion of an almost identical Belkin 8 socket Extreme edition surge protector for £9.99. It still has the telecom inputs and swivel sockets but not the a/v sockets and only in white.
