Think about a Wireless Ethernet Bridge instead. Something like this.

http://www.broadbandstuff.co.uk/prod...roducts_id=524

£37.00 and does exactly the same.

Alternatively you can pay a lot less for a Wireless Access Point, put it in client mode, and connect it to an Ethernet port - I got this one from eBuyer for £14.99, but now £17.49+P&P http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132431 - and been using it very happily with my original Xbox .

These things are such a rip off! They should be selling them for £20 tops.

I'd recommend the WAP, but be aware it's mains powered so you'll need an extra plug socket.

Nope, RRP is a staggering £59.99! They're £29.99 second-hand in Blockbuster stores.

I'm tempted to buy one of these but are they any good? Would I be better off and a lot cheaper using a RJ45 cable??

Any advice would be appreciated

Depends on your setup - if it is practical to use a cable, then use a cable - its likely to be more reliable and a fair bit cheaper.

However if your modem is in a different room or upstairs/downstairs then the MS adaptor works well and just plugs into the usb port at the back of the xbox (no seperate power lead needed)

Use your wireless laptop if you have - ICS straight thru - £50 is obscene and the price its been from the start.
