I have been looking for a digital photo frame like this for ages. It has the perfect aspect ratio for my digital photos, can display photos in sequential or random order, can turn itself off automatically or dim itself according to light conditions, has a decent range of delays on the slideshow (5secs to 45mins) and looks good.
You have to read the full specs for yourself, as it does a lot more.

I have already bought one.

I have been a lurker here for a while and this is my first post, so I hope it is ok and that I have sorted out the form correctly.

Thought it only fair to post why I'm voting cold on this; initially the price isn't exactly a bargain, but more importantly I bought a Kodak digital photo frame and the bottom line was it was the most useless gadget I've ever owned........ I don't know a single person who has one of these and has it switched on....... They're essentially a screensaver without a computer.......... So no offence to the op but digital photo frames are dead money.......... thanks to Ebay mine was quickly disposed of........

I don't know why this is so cold - the important thing to see here is that this is a decent frame - it's 800x600 resolution which is just right for an 8" frame - this is much better than the so called "high" resolution frames you see for £40-£60 - plus it's not widescreen so will display your pictures large enough to see from across the room without distortion. It has auto on/off functions and will automatically adjust brightness for ambient light.

I think this is a hot price for a named brand

If you want more value for money how about this for £99.99 with 1Gb internal memory and touch sensitive controls?

The reason I went for this frame rather than others was down to the flexibility of the device. I had one of my details incorrect. The delay between slideshow frames is from 5 secs to 4 hours. This means that you can set up a slideshow at a much slower rate so you don't have to be watching it all the time for the next one. I wanted one that would display a photo for a long time, then change it. Ideally I wanted one that would change once every day - but there is no such beast that I could find.
I did not want movies or music - it is a frame for heaven's sake. I want it to act like a photo frame, but one that can change the photos a bit easier. This frame does that for me.
Orlando - I am not surprised you got rid of your Kodak frame - it is rubbish. This Philips one is the first one I have found that works properly.
Sorry everyone is finding it so cold. I thought this was a good buy at 1/3 off. Oh well, everyone is different.

Don't worry that your deal is heading toward absolutezero... most people are either blindly voting on price (after all you can pick up 7" frames for £30) or because their bad experiences with cheap frames has put them off altogether.
