Brabantia Touch Bins (various sizes) 50% off at Amazon UK

68°

FOUND BY: Kkirgirl 1 year, 1 month ago

Just got an email today from Amazon advertising Brabantia Touch bins with 50% off.

Various sizes from 3-50L capacity in a range of finishes.

I have their 30L bin and have wanted a 50L but not wanted to pay the £150 price tag that goes with it. 50% off, perfect, have ordered mine :o)

And of course, pick their supersaver delivery and get it delivered free.

Hehe - to be honest, i quite like how they look and theyre soo easy to clean. Plus Brabantia have great customer service so if something in the lid breaks they will send you a new one no problems.

I guess it depends if you like that kind of bin or not.

I didnt wanna pay £150 for a new bin but 50% off is good and i know it will last (and look nice in my new kitchen lol)

I bought a plastic touch bin like these from Makro. Was £15 and looks the exact same unless you get up real close.

Looks to me more like amazon has doubled the normal price then reduced it to claim its 50% off.
Ive never seen one of the 50L touch bins for anything more than £80. We paid £60 for ours 4 years ago!
Naughty Naughty

even cheaper here at £62.99, and you get a free 3L brabantia;

How can anybody justify spending so much on a very cheaply manufactured tin , for putting all sorts of unmentionable junk and rubbish in. People should be aiming for functionality these days and a good ol' plastic cheapy bin works just as well. £150 full price for a 'bin'..... come on............ £73 for a 'special offer' bin . I don't know - what are we coming to.........

I got the fingerprint proof 50L for £33 last year

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/11802.../home/all/hot/

The RRP was £109 then and shows as £181.67 from Amazon now, I think Amazon make up their RRP's.

Ahha, never mind then - i did go to my local discount housewares shop this afternoon to check before i bought it and they had them on sale at the same RRP as Amazon (full price) and their discount wasnt as good as Amazons so i figured the 50% was a true deal iykwim.

Just had a look at those links but neither have the colour i want for less than i've paid so i'll stick with my order.
