I found this instore at my local ASDA today. I have one myself and it is in my view an excellent player and they had quite a few on sale.

The Sansa View is a video MP3 player with a vast array of features and generous capacity, the sleek-looking Sansa View marries the finest MP3 player attributes with full-motion video support (typically found in larger portable media players (PMPs)), a larger screen, long battery life and generous capacityall in a thin, easy-to-carry package.

An MP3 player at its core, the Sansa View comes well equipped . The smooth, backlit scroll wheel and vibrant 2.4 widescreen display make it easy to navigate to: a music library; video collection; digital photos; digital FM radio with 20 pre-sets; an integrated microphone and voice recording, and Audible audiobooks.

Sandisk Sansa View 8GB MP3/Video Player with FM Tuner
Plays videos, music, photos, radio, and audio books
Large bright 2.4" screen
Built-in FM radio
Built in microphone for recording
Expandable MicroSD/SDHC card slot for additional storage

don't know why people are voting cold - this seems like a very good price for a very good player if you ask me.

I have the 16gb version which I picked up for somewhere between 50 - 60 quid - I can't quite remember but it was only that price cuz it was ex-display.

worto.

There you go justice is being restored

£99 at argos is a bit much though - you can get the 16gb version for £110 at currys.

I don't have one, but a quick search on Google found this :

These also have a MicroSD slot so you can expand the memory. Does the Nano have this?.....

Thats the menu once your in the music section, the main menu is graphical - which my GF prefers to my ipod classic - I'm not fussed either way, I got the sandisk for my dad and he finds the graphical menu much easier as does my girlfriend, if I had to choose I think I prefer the non-graphical ipod way but only just.

There are some video reviews of this online I'll post them if I can find them again.

The Micro SD slot is possible one of it's best features and unlike the creative players the intergration is very good so you can see all of your music at once and make playlists ect like it's one big memory instead of having to swap between the two.

edit - here is a link to a video showing the graphical bit of the menu the pics above are after you have selected music.

Before anyone commits to this player, goto:

http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board?board.id=view

There are a lot of very angry Sansa View owners here. I personally have only had minor problems with my 8gb View, but Sandisk has basically abandoned this product.

Also, before someone suggests going to Rockbox for the View, it is still in early alpha development and has been forever.
