I know this won't work for everyone, but if you are going through an airport soon then you can pick up this Canon EOS1000D at an excellent price.

Once you claim the £30 cashback from Canon then you are looking at a net price of just £267.86 which is pretty good for a decent entry level camera.

You can phone ahead to make sure that there will be one in stock when you go to the airport.

Finally something to do with the £1 Ryan Air flights to dank industrial Eastern European cities. Buy ticket, go to airport, buy camera, change mind about trip, go home again.
