4 pack of GU10 LED lamps (In-store Only) £10 @ B&Q

£10.00

70°

FOUND BY: Going_Digital 1 year, 3 weeks ago

Pack of 4 GU10 LED lamps.

They are not with all the bulbs but at the end of an Isle in a special promotional (box) stand. Three varieties available White, Blue & multi-colour changing. They are packaged as 4 individual green boxes wrapped in shrink wrap.

White have barcode 05197354 and come up on the receipt as GU104PKWHT
Blue have barcode 05197347 and come up on the receipt as GU104PKBLU

The have 20 LED's and claim to be equivalent to a 35W halogen. In reality though I would suggest a 20 LED model is probably more realistically equivalent to 25W. Excellent price, as cheap as ones from eBay sellers in Hong Kong but from a reputable shop.

More like 15w equiv!! They are great for background lights in areas that will be left on for some time, but definitely not replacements for traditional lights, yet ... that technology is still stuck in a University somewhere. Good price though.

I got mine from Oxford but have seen them in Kent as well.

I have 2 strips of 4 spotlights in one room so I have put 2 LED ones in each strip to reduce the power consumption and it still gives adequate light. I wouldn't replace all bulbs with LED's though as the spread is not that good, you get a very concentrated light on a small area.

I'm saving up to get some of those GU10s with a tiny fluorescent tube in. I've seen them working and they give a really nice even, bright white light. £££ though, any good deals anyone?

good deal, like above not enough light for lighting a room up properly unless you have 50 in there.

I understand the power consumption of each LED is 1.2w which makes it worth banging another light up.
I have the energy efficient gu10s and although they take a minute or 2 to warm up they are pretty decent and have taken a huge slice out of the electric bill. 1 light was burning 200w before i switched and now its only burning 44w.

Think you can as they are to be used on a mains lighting circuit.
You can't dimm on a low voltage run.

No they're not dimmable

You can with the correct dimmer switch.
