I think the GFX issue was with the 8600GT. This laptop has the integrated 8400GT (less powerful).

Not a bad price, but I'm wary of buying a VAIO after the last time.

The gpu issue affects most laptop 7 series, all 8 series (including a good few desktop cards) and some 9 series (the ones that are basically rebadged 8 series cards) There aren't any new batches of these gpu's as they are now using the 9 series chips that aren't affected..

Isn't this range way out of date now? Since the NR21 we've had the NR3* series, and now the NRs have been discontinued altogether - NSs now.
