Guitar Hero World Tour Guitar Package (Wii) - £39.99 (in store) WH SMITH

OK, so this may not work in every store but worth a mention as it worked for me...
Basically the game is priced up at £39.99 and I assume that's the in store price for GAME ONLY. I asked how much the guitar bundle was, and the spotty kid who works there told me £39.99. I didn't then ask too many questions, just gave my money said please and thank-you at the right time and ran like the wind!
This was in the Trafford Centre this morning, the store was ultra-busy, the spotty kid looked extra-clueless and I capitalised on that with a great deal. Like I say, may not work for you all, just try being in the right place at the right time!

I had my ps3 scanned like that (the decimal place was one over by mistake), tesco policy is double the difference

I had a similar experience in Sainsburys today. They only had the display boxes for the full version out but they had the Solus price (34.97 Wii, 39.97 Xbox 360 & PS3), CS even checked with games assistant who told him to make sure he got the big box with the guitar in.
So I got the 360 version for £39.97, think I might go back tomorrow for 1 of the others. |

in fact - do you know what - i might go to tescos with a trolley, put 2 items in, pay, go to the ciggy counter and walk off with someone elses full trolley and say please and thank you at the right time to the guard -
