I read about this television a few months ago which was due out soon. Its now on the misco website, thought i would give it some advertisement here as its a quality piece of equipment for less than £300!!

The point is good picture quality. Let's assume you have a 17" montior that 1280x1024 - do you say what's the point to that? Obviously by your logic 800x600 is better.

yeah but unless you sit really close to your 28" your not going to see any improvement, the human eye just isnt that good im afraid, however if your going to use it as a monitor then brilliant!

LOL you have zero logic from a failed analogy.

these specs are simply to fool and mesmorize the consumer into thinking they need 1080p, and they just do not, I have a 37" 1080p and even that is probably not needed, 42 plus is where 1080p shows itself.. put 2 28" screens next to each other, hook up PS3's to them, put VirtuaTennis3 or any other capable of 1080p on both, run one at 1080p and the other at 720p and you will see absolutely no difference whatsoever.

its not true...wait for the arguement..."i can see the difference, my eye sights beyond human"
But honestly you will see a difference...if you sit 1ft from the tv, you might notice a small difference...
