Free sample goody bag from Tesco pharmacy

I know this has been posted before in the past but I thought I would remind everyone as I picked up a really good freebie bag from Tesco pharmacy today.

If you ask at the pharmacy they sometimes have free sample bags to give away. I have asked a couple of times in the past (sometimes they have run out or other times they are targeted at different groups ie. the last time it was for diabetics only) Well today i got one and the freebies were quite good! Inside was

Nivea Visage DNAge Night cream - full size 50ml
A packet of herb soothing boiled losengers (not sure what they were for but tasted nice!)
A sample of sensitve skin washing powder
A carton of Alpro Soy chocolate milk
A calcium supplement chewable tablet
A travel size shampoo sample

The Nivea cream is worth £15.99!!!

Worth asking next time you pass the pharmacy.

I got mine from the borehamwood tesco. As i said it is a bit hit and miss whether they have any in stock or not. Definately worth asking whenever you are passing!

On another note - have anyone noticed how Tesco keep creping up their prices, mainly on own brand items. Have noticed this for years - but recently, Tesco crackers went from 19p to 36p, Tesco Bread Sticks from 44p to 55p ad Tesco Salted Peanuts from21p to 33p? Per centt wise his is huge, but no announcement, no promo, no reason. B4 someone says this is market forces, well we are in a recession, this how much we are actually saving going there weekly? These are 3 - there must be tonnes of sneaky price increases - and significant ones, not just the odd penny or two.

hussaifa, I have noticed as well.
Some Tesco products have gone up by 20%. Tin peas, sweetcorn, carrots, spinach, crumpets spaghetti etc.

Not just tescos prices, went to buy some normal "value" equivilant pasta from Asda, as I do every week. In one week, it had jumped from 19p to 39p. They even had the cheek to put a little "low price " sticker next to it. How can they justify a 20p rise in one week?!
But back to the original post, have received a couple of bags in the past, will try this week! Thanks OP, heat added!

I did purchase something today but I don't believe you have to. I've had the opinion that , if they had had them in stock before when I have asked and not bought something, they would have given it to me.

thought no one would notice...and i mean those vile selfish arrogant moody auntiez working there. had so many occassions whr they dont give u good service. dont think so they will EVER give out anything FREE. GRRRRRRRRRR

Out of the 3 Tesco's I have nearby, none of them have a pharmacy. (incl. 2 Tesco Xtrsa!)
