 sorry to ask a really stupid question but my hubby has said he would like a home theatre speaker set as the speakers on our tv are not very good when turned up, would this be what he is meaning? Don't want to ask him as its on his xmas list |

. You shold look at the Logitech z5500 system that appeared on here for £175 a few days ago. it is very versatile, looks good in most living rooms, a good setup for a beginner because it doesn't need fiddly sound-balance and it's not too expensive. HOWEVER the subwoofer is HUGE. Ours hides under a coffee table out of the way.  |

I bought this set during the Dell sale for under £40 delivered. I bought them for use with my Xbox360, they're a set for the price and do the job for me.
Would recommend them for pc or gaming, have watched a number of High Def movies through them and thought the sound was good.  |
