NOTE: THIS DOES NOT HAVE HDCP INPUT MAKING IT USELESS TO FUTURE STANDARDS AND NOT HD READY AS A RESULT
Hollywood only just gave in to allowing comp analogue output until 2011, their longterm and the norm they will achieve is all output to be copy protected via encrypted HDCP connections over DVI and HDMI with alot of services already offering HDCP only only outputs on any HD product, the only reason people offer otherwise is if people have far older non-digital HD TVs (small minorities in the Far East and America mostly)

Sorry effing & jeffing was trying to add you the picture on but didnt quite get it right. Good price for a 32" however its let down by not being proper hi-def.

It's high def in terms of it's pixels, but not as an overall package not meeting HD Ready specs, although if this can be achieved at this price, it goes to show what those HDCP chipsets must cost.

I suspect that was a inferior display, the good ones tend to be Sony/LG/Samsung based I think, alot of them rebranded.

So woolies one might of been HD Ready and cheap like this one, but at the cost of sacrificing quality which you can't do with LCD TVs as it's a massive difference, unlike CRT where it was more subtle.

just wait a few months (well the longer you wait the better) prices are dropping everyday. Get a decent warrenty and a good make. If you own certain credit cards you get an extra years guarantee
