The people who are voting cold are probably the same people who would only buy a phone if it cost £4.99 with £5 free credit!

Mark, You should phone O2 Up and ask to go through to retentions, then quote this offer at Mobiles.co.uk. They should better it as they want to keep customers. Also mention broadband as you know all O2 Customers can now get half price broadband as a O2 user.

Me. Well, I ant the HTC Touch HD, and Orange currently have exclusivity till the new year, so I am patiently waiting on

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!! NO!

Don't do it!

Avoid mobiles.co.uk like the plague!

I've spent the past week trying to return a dodgy phone to these cowboys! They sent me a locked phone and sim on a different network.

You can't get through to any departments, they don't respond to emails (they have direct line contact numbers at the end of their emails but when you ring them they say "this is a residential address", despite the ofice noises in the background.)

They ignore emails, and if you miss them calling they tell you to ring them up (hello, hence the email?!)

You have 7 days when you can return your order unused, but they don't respond to emails, you can't get through, while the supplier bills you for the month and you've entered a contract...

If you're in any doubt (don't be fooled by the Carphone Warehouse link - they are run independently but use the same systems) just try giving them a ring...any number - custmer services, returns, any number you like.

Sorry op - but after 10 days of trying to get through to these I'd hate to see you go through what I've been through.

Update - Finally got a returns address today...after I got T-mobile (they couldn't get through either) and the Carphone Warehouse to follow up my complaint. Lucky escape for me.....

(Rant over)

Joss - maybe I've been lucky so far.

I've phoned them & got through (after waiting for it to stop being engaged - 2 or 3 attempts) to a UK sales bod.

After the order was completed online - I sent them an email saying I forgot to add the headset (from the offer code above) - they responded within 20 minutes as said they'd add it.

I guess it's pot luck with the service.

Hope it goes well for you BlkKnight.

Even the nice Joanne at CW struggled to get through to them and they operate under the same umbrella, she said she got cut off several times before she managed it.

The only time I got through to them was when I rang sales...even that was after a good wait. Makes sense they'd have more staff on that line than say returns (only Daniel). Pity I got transferred to abyss that is returns....

Woe betide anyone taking a cashback deal, or if the phone develops problems.

Linky here - so it's not just me:

I got this phone via o2 retentions, hoepfully it will be delivered tomorrow.

I got the handset free, and I pay £24.50 a month, for 600 mins, 1000 texts, and data bolt on.

Works out @ £441 over £18 months.

Good deal?
