Used a lot of these in the last few months. I have to say at first I was like many people who post on these type of deals, i.e. why pay for a branded test, these are just as good. Then about four months ago my other half was adamant she was pregnant, and four/five of these strips over two/three days said she wasn't. She bought a First Respone kit, and it gave a positive result. She used a home health strip the next morning and it said she wasn't. The scan we had last week shows she definitely was (is).
Don't get me wrong - I'm sure if we'd waited a few days the home health kit would have given a positive result too. My point is that (anecdotally) they clearly aren't as accurate as a First Response for an early positive result. Yes, they're fine if you are prepared to wait for your result - the problem occurs when you're not...
