i know this is a very very odd thing to post

but am i right in saying stamps work as currency and you can actually sell them to the post office!

5% is no savings at all as far as i'm concerned.

As far as I know, Supergrug only gives 5% discount to 1st class stamps

Sorry, but please, go away. 5% off STAMPS which are treated almost the same as currency, is better than any other deal as they're rarely discounted as they don't need to be. Why would you neg rep someone for posting something that saves others money? There's little point in doing so, especially when neg rep is for when people do bad things. Maybe you didn't realise, but this is a site for saving money..

There will be people on here who are regularly selling items on here and ebay, they could save quite a lot on postage especially on parcels.

Hello, it is not a bad offer - something is better than nothing. If somebody (like us here) still send some X-mas cards to elder people who are not in the electronic age, eBay parcels, etc. then it makes sense stocking up a bit as long as these 'carrot' offers last in the latest supermarket wars...
Being a stam collector, I do buy stamp lots myself on auctions for my collection. Just bought a huge box recently crammed with stamps, albums, etc. Normally I pickup the ones I want and can swap/sell remmaining ones. Now, I nearly have always spare 1st and 2nd class stamps. Thus if anyone needs these, I could post free and at 10% discount. I have a bit spare at the moment. Thanks.

The superdrug offer doesn't include 2nd class ones though, so if you are after them, then Sainsbury's is the place to go!
