Nice price...I have this laptop in blue (but with smaller hard disk) and am very pleased with it. Paid £429.99 from dixons online (with £10 voucher). Wirelss works well, MS Works included and webcam was a surprise bonus.

Always worth keeping an eye on dixons.co.uk for Dells also as they often have the different colours in stock and give 4% quidco and 2.5% cashback on Egg card. Mine was in stock and delivered in 2 days.

Tried it but there was nothing of any value at all when I went on there. Really happy with mine but £56 is an amazing price

Pretty good price, although the spec is now officially "old".

The screen upgrade to 1440x900 is well worth £40 if you do go for it.

Thanks.

Not too bad really, but when the £50 off deal was about around October time, I got a Studio 17 with 2.0GHz C2D, ATI 256MB 3650, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 2.0MP Webcam etc for £499 delivered, with a free colour upgrade (the Red is ace).

Seeing as RAM is dead cheap and there is space for a second 2.5" drive inside the Studio 17, it is the only reason I didn't plump for the Inspiron 15 really, as the 17 would mean great storage at little extra cost compared to what Dell demand for upgrading the hard drive!

With a claim like that you'd be better believed if you posted proof! PDF maybe?
