Have people got theirs from last time this offer was on yet?

Also they're pretty much useless. Everyone knows that leaving a light on/stuff on standby etc uses elec costing money. If you don't want to spend that money then turn the stuff off. It's not rocket science!!!

You shouldn't need a monitor to tell you that.

There was something about it (and a standby saver) being free for British Gas customers.
I don't have the newspaper to check tho, anyone got any info on that?

Hi, I sent of for this last time.
It's great it shows you exactly how much electricity you are using, pence per minute, CO2 output etc.
I've got the kids trying to keep it as low as possible, till the novelty wears off !!!!!
Definately worth getting.

Sorry, a couple of things I would add are

1. It did take quite a while to get delivered
2. I paid for courier postage, I think it was an extra couple of quid, but it was still delivered by my post man. So save yourself some money and just get normal postage.

Cold from me. Not because you can get it cheaper but because the product itself is pointless. You don't need a monitor to tell you how much electricity you're using. If you want to save electricity then turn stuff off. It's as simple as that.

Turn off lights when you don't need them, turn off the set top boxes when not using them.

Can't you just go and take a meter readings, and work out now much electricity costs you?
Would be useful if you could use it on individual appliances (like the ones LiIdl & Aldi were selling).
If you can't then it's a waste of money.

We got ours from the first offer - it came last week. It is useful for us as the house has several devices that need to stay on for a variety of reasons (I've got one computer that backs up all our digital photos to a server in the USA and also backs up a mates server) and lets us see the 'base' level of the house at rest (1.5kw). The hoover and the kettle on at the same time is scary...

of course it does..you see how much you are using..you turn off said appliance and do the maths..alternatively you could see the reading and then turn said appliance on and do the maths again!

Also not everyones ,meter is accessable..min ei in cupbard under stairs blocked by sofra because its an old house not designed for large sofas.

The box in the top left of the pic is actually a clamp which fits arounf the live cable going into your fuse box. The display is then fitted somewhere in the house - or carried around - and gets a wireless signal from the box with the blue button.

This is good to keep mounted near front door for verification that you've turned everything off b4 you go out.
