Can't be used as a pc moitor. Hot price considering the freeview and built in dvd player and 3yr guarantee..........

Why cant it be used as a PC monitor?
Resolution: 1680 (H) × 1060 (V)
Surely you just need a pc with a DVI output and a DVI to HDMI converter. Lots of these type of cables and adapters at dealextreme.

sounds excellent value for money, particularly with the warranty, gutted cause I'm working down south at the mo and my local aldi in Glasgow would have these.

I was looking in to this last night and DVI output apparently only carries picture and not sound. Would you need a seperate audio cable as well as using this DVI to HDMI converter and an HD cable?

There's a Venturer one today at Comet for £166, if someone can get various discount offers then this might be easier than the mad rush for Aldi items like this.
