Vodafone - Mobile Broadband - USB Modem Stick - £39.00 (£29.00 £10.00 Quidco) inc 1GB of Data.

£39.00

453°

FOUND BY: zermattbusby 11 months, 2 weeks ago

No contract - no fuss
USB Modem with 1GB of data
Top up anytime - £15 per GB

If like me you only require Mobile Broadband every now and then, this might be a good alternative to 3s excellent contract deal. Plus purchased PAYG data has NO expiry time

Vodafone are listed on the Quidco site, however not sure how much this deal (if any) will track at. Edit : Tracking at £10.00

I think this is the Huawei E172 and the dash will be Vodafone Mobile Connect...should work ok with Ubuntu.

The selling point here is that the data allowance has no expiry, previously the allowance expired after 1 month.

Agreed this is pretty hot, useful to have on trips away. Im stuck on 3 contract for another 9 months and dont use mine hardly ever. This would have been much better for me.

I work in the IT industry and this Vodafone deal is the best by far - I originally purchased this when it was £49.99 and thought it was good then !!
Having had this nearly a week I can't believe how quick it is.
This deal beats O2's offer as there's comes to £44.99 when you add the first data to the modem.
Yes you can argue they give more data but who uses 3GB a month ?? and if you don't use it you lose it, unlike Vodafones where it never expires !!
I might have to buy some more of these for Christmas gifts !!

Hot. The three deal is excellent, particularly for heavier users, but this is a cracking price.

Just looking for such a deal tonight! I was considering the £2 p/d deal with O2 and T-mobile but this is probably better for me and the modem is cheaper. I'll only use it once in a while when I'm away from home/on holiday etc and the big benefit is that it doesn't expire (unlike Three's broadband)...long live Vodaphone! Mucho H&R added!!

Just checked - you can't use this abroad.
Does anyone know if you can use the T-Mobile / O2 ones abroad?

EDIT: T-mobile you can use in USA & OZ.

Anyone know what the quidco is on this? It's listed on the vodafone site under "mobile broadband" (surprisingly!), and a quick look on quidco states £90 cashback for mobile broadband. Now I'm guessing that's too good to be true?! (alternatively might come under accessories - £1, or PAYT Handset Sales (Per Phone) - £10?)
