Posted this a couple of days ago when it was at £249.99, got cold votes so I don't suppose this will do very well. Still believe it's a good deal though. Next best I can find is £244.64 for the black Linux one at PC World and isn't available for delivery, you have to collect it in store.

Please do rate the deal, not the product. I know you can get Acer's and other brands cheaper but there are good reasons to choose this model over others including good quality construction and SD instead of HDD which makes it more robust and gives it one of the best battery lives you can find in a netbook.

got a 20gb 901 myself a few months back,

its the best machine in the range on the market IMO due to the battery! and size, smallest out of the netbooks too

had one of these for about 3 months. can't fault it. added a 3-network broadband usb device for a fiver a month to enable me internet access from almost anywhere in the uk

thats the range up aint it? 10" screen so a bigger package overall? in the same range as the 1000 eee

For me size and battery are the winners, which the eee901 does best
