12 months free line rental offers on Virgin Mobile / £30 QuidCo profit - choice of 11 great phones!!

50°

FOUND BY: duckmagicuk2 3 years, 1 month ago

The Mobile Outlet have a range of 12 months free line rental offers on a 12 month contract with the Virgin Mobile network.

The phones are on the Virgin Mobile 30 tariff. It costs £30 per month before cashback, and you get 200 x-net mins and 300 text messages per month.

Not only will the WHOLE CONTRACT work out as totally FREE after you've claimed cashback, but you also get to CHOOSE A PHONE FOR TOTALLY FREE!!

The phones you can choose from are: The Motorola L6, the Motorola RAZR V3 Black, the Motorola RAZR V3 Pink, the Motorola L7 SLVR, the Motorola RAZR V3i, the Nokia 6111 Pink, the Samsung D600, the Nokia 6230i, the Sony Ericsson K750i Red, the Sony Ericsson K510i and the Samsung D600 chrome edition.

The offers work by cashback which you claim from The Mobile Outlet at specified intervals (see their site for full Terms and Conditions on this). Basically, you pay the normal amount to Virgin who send you bills. You can then claim this money back from The Mobile Outlet by sending your bills back in accordance with the T&Cs. If you send them on time and recorded delivery then you should have no problems. By the time you've made your last claim the whole thing will have worked out TOTALLY FREE!!

Purchase via QuidCo.com for £30 in extra cashback, so you'll make a PROFIT of £30 on the whole thing!!

Hidden charges to be aware of: Firstly, make sure you cancel insurance with them when you order. This is advertised as "free one month's insurance" but if you do go with it then you'll be paying £4.99 per month for it. | The Mobile Outlet charge an initial fee of £1.99 to perform a credit check. This is unavoidable I'm afraid. | Itemised billing with Virgin Mobile is FREE!!

Hope all that extra info helps!! Thanks go to bongbrain for pointing this out in the other thread.

I posted this a while back, but I assume duckmagic has far more cred

Seems the SE K750i no longer on VirginMobile free, the Samsung D600 and Nokia 6230i are very good deals imo.

I just thought a full write up with extra details would help as you'd mainly talked about the 6230i, and I tried to include some more cashback/charges information in this too.

Thanks schizo. Rep to you anyway.

Thank you good sir, also should remind people my previous thread was wrong on cashback times, 11.1 also mentions anything after 14days of bill is via e-mail only so 14day limit on snail mail, 21days on e-mail here is the official clause:

11.3 If your cash back entitlement is more than £201 for a 12 month contract, you have to claim your money back in a 5 stage process. This cash back offer is conditional upon you complying with the exact terms of this clause. The steps in point 11.1, 11.2 only apply to contracts where the cash back entitlement is £200 or less. To claim cash back in cases where your entitlement is £201 and above you need to comply with the following 5 stages listed below. If you do not comply with the exact terms of each of these stages you will loose your entitlement to your cash back. If any one stage is not complied with, you will loose your entitlement to claim the whole of the cash back. If there have been any late payments made on your account at any time this will result in your application for cash back being void. It is your responsibility to ensure that the relevant documentation reaches us within the relevant period. The stages of claiming the cash back are:
  1. In month 4 of your contract you will need to forward bills 1through to 4 to us within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 4.
  2. In month 7 of your contract you will need to forward bills 5 through to 7 to us within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 7.
  3. In month 9 of your contract you will need to forward bills 8 & 9 to us within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 9.
  4. In month 11 of your contract you will need to forward bills 10 & 11to us within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 11.
  5. In month 12 of your contract you will need to forward to us bill 12 within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 12.

Too lazy to make a new thread, so I'll just mention on it on here, same retailer, network and tariff, but free Sony Ericsson W810i from TMO on VM 30 (200mins/300sms) with 10months free rental, so £300 cashback, £60 term cost, minus quidco (TMO has uped its affiliate referral from £20 to £30 now so £30 cashback) = £30 term cost

The Mobile Outlet are still doing this.
But the Nokia 6111 deal comes with bluetooth headset as well now

CPW over the phone
and
ThePhoneSpot via online form both offer the opportunity to price match other deals.

If ANYONE manages to do this, PLEASE let us know the deal you got, thanks
