EXPIRED - M&S Various Deals on sale - starts 25th, 27th

Thanks for the heads up. Bought the 32" Sony V4000 three weeks ago from John Lewis for £329 including 5 year guarantee. So that deal at least does not seem that great. We'll see....

For all those voting hot, take the time to read a cautionary tale about M&S sale's.
I for one "got" a DS ordered from them a couple of years back i think it was, only for it to be out of stock......

OK i' confused as they have an existing promotion on the V series, giving 200 quid+ tax reduction off the 37 inch making it £478 and the 40 in £575, the 32 inch has £150 off, all deducted at final check out ?????

the v4000 series is a discontinued model, hence why its now going cheap

We've ordered sale stuff from M&S a number of times and, as far as I can remember, have yet to receive a full order! The last time, a couple of months back, there ended up being so much stuff out of stock that we ended up with goods worth less than £30 thus having to pay the delivery charge for a few pairs of socks! We emailed them as soon as the email reporting the out of stock items came through but they wouldn't cancel the order or refund the delivery charge!

They ain't very good. I just worked for them for 4 weeks and 1 day. I could not take it anymore, boring, nothing to do, moron managers. They took ages to pay wages and i'm still waiting on money they owe me. If its that bad on the inside its no wonder people have problems with them.

Being replaced by the v4500, which includes the new processing chip (Bravia 2).

For this price you'd be doing well to beat this set.

i worked for M&S on the Technology section for a year, but left, because I got bored of having no customers. The one thing I will say however, is that you get a 5 year guarantee on all the televisions, no matter what size or make, and you get a 2 year guarantee on anything else from the technology section, (technology section meaning the unique product number is superceded by "T04"). And its totally free, and alls you have to do is keep your receipt, no forms to fill out or nowt like that. So if your the one who always buys gadgets that "break", then its a good place to go. oh and the staff aren't on commission, so you'll usually get a honest answer, unlike curry's and places like that. Anywho, thought you all should know. Sounds like I should apply for a job again, ha!
