Firmware updated now allows BBC Stations
Shame it doesn't run off battery, could do with it for the bathroom.

Hot from me. Already got a Logik internet radio and I wouldn't do without one now, so much choice its unbelievable. This is probably the cheapest you will get an internet radio for if you are looking for an introduction and this one has an ethernet port on it so you don't need a wireless network (although its obviously better with one for portablility). Will try and convince mrs that we need one for the kitchen

You won't regret it, got one today after seeing this post. Haven't set it up yet but if its anything like my Logik (and it should be better) then I will be happy. Hardly use my DAB now.

Just set up, only took a few minutes although putting in network password was a pain with the dial as its 26 characters! Updated firmware from 1.30 to current 1.51in a couple of minutes.

First impressions:-

1) Sound pretty good and not as bad as some have made out.
2) Display really good with large digital clock with day & date, current station/track streaming & scrolling news feeds.
3) Nice menu system, loads of options.
4) Easy to access music library on PC, and its doesn't miss the first few seconds of the tracks like my Logik IR100 does!
5) Build quality a bit cheap and my Logik feels like its built like a tank in comparison even though that was a budget buy too!

Really impressed so far, if reliabilty proves ok then this is a steal at this price

I've got one reserved and I'm collecting it tomorrow - I'm taking a small punt on this as at the moment it can't access the BBC "listen again" as the broadcasts are in Real Audio. Looking on a BBC blog it seems that listen again will soon be broadcast in WMA, which would make this box an absolute steal.

I bought three of these on Saturday for the Kitchen, Bathroom (it comes with a 'shaver plug adapter') and one to replace my DAB in the bedroom. This is basically three for the price of one equivilent device. I love them, and they play all my music from the server at a problem and can all play the same track at the same time (if your sad enough to try it!)

This is simply excellent value !!! Marked as £69 and went through till at £29 !!
There were 5 in Newport PC World - I bought 2, one for the kitchen and the other for the bedroom.
Works excellently and update is easy.
Great find

Stop dithering and just go and buy one!!!!! Honestly for £30, no-brainer. I haven't bothered with a DAB radio, i couldn't see the point, you turn a radio on and you listen, who cares how the music gets there. It was only when i started using the Musicpal, it dawned on my how much choice there is, why restrict yourself to what you get with a DAB radio when you have the whole internet to play with!! I think its great!!

I brought this at £80 a good year ago, within months the new firmware sorted out the BBC issue. Streams music from windows PCs no problem.

Just watch out if your on a tiny allowance for broadband, many hours of usage will eventually leave you dry.
