Just seen these for sale at Selfridges Trafford Centre on special offer at £799, which seems to be £150 less than most other places.

They said it was nationwide.

Better still they are included in the stores offering the free 5 year Panasonic warranty.

I was looking for the 42 inch model but it's about the same price.

The 5 year deal finishes tomorrow so if you are interested I would move fast

Apparantly they will deliver, the box is huge and I am paying to have it delivered as my missus refused to catch the bus home so it might have fit in my car !

judging by your avatar you may be better with the pz85 with the built in free satelite reception- closer to where you are.

Be careful, Panasonic have just pulled the plug on free 5 year warranties on their Plasma range. Its only for LCDs I believe. Just make sure Panasonic will honour the warranty before buying.

For good Panasonic deals I would speak to a company called Sound and Vision in Farnworth, Bolton huge retailer of LCD & PLASMA and they are on Good Terms with Panasonic and Bose for discounts, explain the offer to them and they will beat it and deliver it for when you want it...

I bought my Pioneer from them for a lot cheaper and they are one of only a handful of Audio retailers in the UK who can heavily discount on Bose Products.

Maybe worth a look at.

Thanks for that, I was told as long as it was bought before the new year it would be fine.

I would have bought from S&V but they were shut and I didn't want to miss a bargain!

I agree they are great to deal with particularly if you live close. They do better deals instore than on the net for some reason - I guess to stop people just getting a quote and taking it to JL for a pricematch.

You're partly correct, but no, they don't differentiate bewtween LCD and Plasma [never have done AFAIK]

It's on particular models http://www.replyonline.co.uk/Panason...microsite.html but if you check the T&C's it only covers purchases between 1st November and TODAY! They did the same thing last year if memory serves me.

It's until the end of the year only [2008] so, you would need to make your purchase instore TODAY!

This is a super super hot deal!

I had this on order from Dixons, due to be delivered this Friday for £982 without the 5 year warantee!

I've just phoned up and cancelled it with them and ordered it from Selfridges in Manchester City Centre. Gotta wait another week or so for delivery, but it's worth it for the saving and the guarantee!

Great find, thanks for saving me over £140! (delivery from Selfridges was £40)
