Panasonic TH42PX80 42" Plasma HDTV - £559 Delivered @ Martin Dawes

£559.00

17°

FOUND BY: gunark 10 months, 3 weeks ago

This TV has been covered on here plenty before. It is generally accepted as one of the best TVs of the 720p spec, better than many 1080p ones too (as good as my Sony 40V4000 is, it does not have the Panasonic/plasma finesse and refinement). Please don't say it's not Full HD, we all know by not but with a fantastic set like this you will not care. Awesome HD, class leading SD, rich colours, attention grabbing image. One of the best plasmas made today - don't read the specs and decide, try using your eyes. Read reviews, check the buzz, and make a good investment.

There has been many deals for this recently so this is just another at a great price with the all important FREE delivery. Some places may do it at less but then charge up to £60 for delivery!

P.s. - leave one for me!

The one posted does not have a 5 yr waranty!! From link "Warranties
3 yr Plasma Television £179.00 more info 5 yr Plasma Television £249.00"
Do Plasma TV's often go wrong? I doubt a Panasonic will. I would take the risk and did with the 37" for just over £500 earlier this year. Btw great TV,

the 37 is my choice too however its still more expensive than the 42. Problem is, the 42 will look really bad in my room.

When they run dry you wait and get the newer models cheaper, don't pay more than you need to for a tv else you'll be gutted when you see the next deal. I waited and got mine during the 10% off sale at Dixons on Xmas day for £450.

if only the 37px80 went down to £400 or so...

£450 for the 42 was a cracking deal.

so does anyone know if this tv is being made obsolete hence all the cheap prices? as all the reviews state how amazing it is compared to far more expensive ones it seems odd to sell them cheaper and get rid of them?

Dixons had a 10% voucher out there as well for anything over 100. Making it 449 if you wannit without warranty. I would rather have warranty, but got mine at 437 so cant justify an extra 130. Panny build them to last - hence 5yr out of box warranty INTERNATIONALLY.
