Ok price but not a well built phone - keypads keep cracking so I wouldn't rush to buy it

I've had this phone for over a year now and had no problems with keys cracking. I was aware of this problem when I bought it but was assured that this fault was only with early versions and had been rectified.

I also have this phone and no problems at all. Great little phone!

I like the fitness feature on this phone. Keys havn't cracked on mine in over a year.

are the cracked keys covered under warrente or anything will they replace them

About the going rate for this phone - neither hot nor cold.

key cracking was an issue nearly 2 years ago. I have one and it's fine.

IMHO avoid this phone, bought one of these for my daughter last year and the key pad failed within 6months, where as the S500i (similar phone without walkman features and different keypad) is still going strong after a year

I will not be buying anymore SonyEricsson phones from Play.com anymore

In October 2008 we bought 2 w350i phones from play for birthday presents (twin girls) .At the end of November 2008 one of the phones would no longer charge the battery, rang play who said they wont do anything about it and to contact SonyEricsson as its under warranty

A week later we received a letter saying that the phone and contents were not covered under the warranty and that we would have to pay for repairs

We rang SonyEriccson up to tell them that we had sent the Play.com receipt for proof of purchase with the phone and contents, at which point they then informed us that Play.com is not an authorized seller for any of their phones and therefore they are not covered under their warranty

Rang Play.com back up and they have basically said its nothing to do with them sort it out with SonyEricsson

I bought this phone from Additions Direct who were selling it for £67. I used their offer code ZG338 whereby new customers spending over £60 got £30 off. So, with P&P it cost me around £42 which I thought was fantastic as had been contemplating it for £90 from Vodafone PAYT. No probs with it yet but early days, although I was aware of the keys issue before I purchased, but thought for this price I would take the risk.
