Yesterday I went and collected one of these for my mom. She reserved for a collect at store and I printed the email out - with the code. The instore price is £97.86 but with the reserve code, they have to charge you the web exclusive price - great saving! Next cheapest I've found it is £88.08 at Argos.

The HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-One is designed for people who want a full range of easy-to-use photo features, from fast photo printing and easy editing to crisp, sharp scans and quick colour copies.

* Maximum print resolution - 4800 x 2400 dpi
* Normal Print speed - 20ppm b&w/12ppm colour
* Standalone copying - Yes
* Number of cartridges - Black & Tri-colour
* Connectivity - USB 2.0

Unless you really need to print on DVD's etc you may want to consider the HP 5180 for pennies under £40 @ PC World. The major benefit here is the 6 ink tank system which is a big saving over tri-colour cartridge of the 5280 which causes you to throw away some ink when one chamber is empty.

Yup, I got one of these as a refurb off ebay for £25, came packaged as new, put in some 350 and 351 XL cartridges and it's not let me down since.

Was a pain to set up printing to DVD but once it's done it works every time, results of printing to DVD are great.

It also has 2 loading trays, 1 for photo paper and one for normal paper, you just select which tray when printing.

The scanner works great, excellent copies and same applies for photocopies, simple 1 button procedure (well 2 if you count the power button)

ink has lasted me about 4 months on average use, mostly printing to DVD so a lot of colour work.

It is a little large but has all the features I need.

Also has Sd, XD, CF and MS memory card slots and a little 1" screen, so no need to turn pc on to print pictures, there is also red eye removal direct from the printer.

Can't fault it really.

Hope this helps anybody having doubts

Jamba: just google for the printer model and ink cartridges - couldn't be simpler could it?

This deal isn't hot - it's a standard "lowest" price for this printer. I've been watching it for a while. This gives you some idea that £88 is way overpriced.
