I thought this was a great buy for those on the lookout for a cheap sofa deal.

Have checked as much as possible to see if it's already posted but couldn't spot it. Apologies if it's there already.

Basically Harveys are doing this 3 seater leather sofa which has 2 recliner sections for those of us who like to take it that bit easier. In-store it's available in black, beige and brown but only appears to be available in brown online. The 2 seater equivalent is the same price and the single seater is only £10 cheaper.

I had a wee seat in my local store in Uddingston and it was very comfy too. It also gets delivered in sections so you don't have to worry about measuring your doors and so on. You can avoid the £50 delivery if you are prepared to pick it up from their warehouse (my nearest is Livingston).

Only drawback is that it's about 13-14 weeks for delivery but I don't think that's wildly unusual for sofas.

in current financial environment this is a bit risky....they might be bust in 13 weeks and you will be left out of pocket

You only need to leave a £50 deposit and the rest isn't due until the week before delivery. Appreciate that no-one wants to lose £50 but mitigates the risk a bit anyway...

These cheaper recliners are not very comfortable at all. The little board that comes up to support your legs has very little cushioning.

I'd rather pay more for somthing comfortable that will last.

Sorry, but I'd have to disagree. We bought these at this price last Boxing Day after much research and have been impressed by them. Around the same time my mother bought a set for 3 times what we paid and my brother bought a similar suite from Land of Leather. They are all comparible with ours coming out at the cheapest.
