Buzz the TV quiz for PS3 with compatible buzzers from PS2 - £15 @ PCWorld

This is a deal from both Sainsburys and PC world.

Firstly buy the game for the PS3 solus in Sainsburys for £10, then in PC World they have the PS2 version of Buzz with wired buzzers priced at £10, thing is that they scan at £5. The buzzers work perfectly with the PS3 version of the game and although they're wired, this is actually a positive as it means you don't have to continuously replace the batteries of the wireless ones.

Also you get the PS2 version of the game which you can either keep this and play it on your PS2/PS3 if it's backwards compatible or sell on.

Easy.

note. this was easy for me as I did it at the Braehead, Glasgow stores where PC World and sainsburys are very near to each other

Unfortunatley not a lot of stock of the PS2 with buzzers as I have been looking but I noticed Basingstoke has some online.

We reguarly play with 8 on Buzz for the PS3 (using 4 wired and 4 wireless controllers). I would imagine it also works with 8 wired or 8 wireless (shouldn't make any difference).

Good to hear, how so is it 8 players on the screen or this couch mode it mentions?

I have buzz, and would pay that for wired controllers.

8 player is ok on PS3 but bear in mind that you cannot play either pie fight or point stealer. Still £5 for wired buzzers is a steal. I paid £17.99 for my extra wireless ones a month ago but they now seem to be a lot more expensive.
