Sounds like a bargain to me... I funking hate 18 month contracts but all that for £15 a month is well worth it.

Waiting for all the "three are rubbish" crowd to come along but I haven't had too many problems with them and for the price you can handle any minor gripes....

there is always someone somewhere who has had some problem with any of the available networks, and some that have had no problems.

I think the unlimited SMS are limited in that there is a fair usage policy of about 3000 a month or something. Its a pretty clever handset if you're big into your facebooking.. doesnt look too good but it feels ok in the hand.

But 3000 a month is more than enough (in fact HUGE!) for most people - also if you know people on Skype you can IM them for free, which is like texting and also email/IM via Facebook and Windows Live Messenger or Yahoo etc etc, or use preffered web based email.

I got £32.50 for this phone and deal from Quidco.

It's not a bad phone, just not a great one. As it's costing me a lot less every month than my Blackberry was on O2 I'm happy to have a cheaper phone. The Skype is great and saves me a real fortune! Also the My3 website works well, little things are important, I'll resist going into a rant about other networks

I would say yes (as long as you are using 3g enabled phones)

I take it the SIM can now be used in a iPhone 3G? Would be pretty much ideal!

I have recently moved to three and thought of sharing somethings with anyone looking to move to three.

--Good--
-The signal is excellent when outside the home, I primarily use it in London
-Internet super fast on my E71 nokia
-Skype works perfect for both incoming calls and even skypeout calls (remember, skypeout doesn't work for UK numbers though)
-Planet3 is excellent, where you can instantly see how many minutes you have left etc (most other networks are 2 days behind when you check your mins, so if you want to check how many left as of now its not possible, this has become very important to me after i once got bitten for about £200 monthly bill)
-3-to3 calls unlimited on my contract, which means calling my wife's phone is totally free
-The three email is excellent, i configured 3 webmails on it and any new mails gets pushed to my handset, this is included in the £5 per month internet package

--Bad--
-The signal is *super ***** inside buildings, which means none of the above features will work when you are inside your home (this is true with most houses I visit, i checked it at a few friends houses)
-The phone is just a paperweight when I am inside any building, people who call me have got really annoyed and everyone of them asked me If I had a problem with my phone as its constantly unrecheable
-Atleast no one can call me when I am home, not sure whether this is good or bad!

I hope this will help someone out there trying to get a new three phone.
I was with O2 and Orange before three and never had signal issue with both of them, but three cannot be beaten on value, ecspecially on internet/skype features!

Please feel free to copy this review to any website you like.

Cheers.

I signed up for 3 when the £9 tariff was advertised here. I also signed up for the unlimited internet. Very impressed so far, The 3 mail app supports imap, pop, gmail, hotmail, etc and appears to push mail to the handset.

If you can specify the number of someone who has a three contract both you and they get £30 after 2 months which is almost as good as quidco.

Whilst you are officially not supposed to use your phone as a modem on the unlimited net add-on, I can and have used it without incurring any additional costs.

There is no way to track your net usage! This is daft, you get a txt after you have used 80% of the 1gb the f..u.p allows you, *unlimited" lol :D.

Skype works great! The skype software simply contacts 3 servers who phone you and then convert your standard phone call into a voip call on their end, so it works perfectly, better than on some high powered windows mobile phones. Additionally you can force close the skype app and still recieve skype calls for several hours as the server doesnt sign you out.
