I rather get Aone ones from Ebuyer for 40p each - especially seeing as how the 30 or so Ive used so far have all worked perfectly.

Missing link?

I don't know much about dual-layer discs but have heard that verbatims are good. Not sure why this is so cold unless they are cheaper elsewhere.

But not everybody can get away with using aones, especially since they recently changed their dye and called them aones plus which are notoriously pap.

You can try Elites from SVP, seem to work.

These are by far the most robust, seem to work first time everytime and the this is the best price I have seen for them.

I imagine it's cold because trigger happytmuppets who have no idea what DL disks are, are getting their gruppy little mits on the mouse button.

These are excellent discs and well worth the extra cash over the cheap stuff. These are what you want to buy if you make backups of your 360 games. I've used well over 70 of these discs and NEVER once had a bad burn or one go wrong . Although I prefer to buy from SVP since they will tell you where the discs were manufactured which can be important with verbatim dual layers (Singapore=good, India=not so much).

Just ordered 50 Elites from there, something like £11 for 50 so will see how we go. Lot cheaper than Verbs so fingers crossed

Hit and miss for me, the first 50 nor clone cd or imgburn could even read the dye specification from the disk from the first half a dozen in the spindle so SVP just sent me a new batch.

Since I had two batches then I tried some from the middle of the spindle, a few have worked properly, a few have burned and failed verification at the layer break and others are back to the not reading dye problem.

For £16 delivered you can't really complain, even if 50% work.

For real results verbs are the way to go but like many people say, you can afford to buy a lot of Elites and / or aones and chuck half out for the money of verbs.
