No it's not 1080p, although it's a fantastic Plasma.

I have the PX70, i bought it about this time last year and at that point it was at the end of its retail life. Replaced by the PX80 in March

you get a slightly more refined TV in the PX80, not many differences though

And both are 720P but can accept a 1080P signal

Hot deal, but there are some bad reviews about the retailer on this old thread (things might have changed now): HERE/
:
This company has been reported to the ASA many, many times (including by me) and they have even been convicted of minor breaches yet they are as bad as they ever were. They may well sell certain things for silly prices on a few occasions but they then continue to advertise and promote those bargains for months and months afterwards. Even over a year in one case.

Avoid Hyperfi at all costs.

They specialise in "graded" or "ex-display" products (i.e. mail-order returns or stuff other retailers can't sell, which may or may not be working properly and are often cosmetically knackered too).

Not worth the hassle

The PX80 has a 100hz panel, an extra hdmi socket (3 in total), slightly better contrast ratio and lower power consumption. I've had both and although the PX80 is better it's not a massive difference to be honest.

The PX70 didn't include a pedestal though so it'd be worth checking first if you were going to go for it and you don't already have a wall bracket.

PX80 is only £499 from Richer Sounds, bargain in my eyes! http://www.richersounds.com/showprod...=PANA-TH37PX80

To put the boot in further, isn't there an issue with Plasma Tvs at the moment?
There was an article the other day mentioning some becoming illegal due to the power consumption.
