Fantastic price - I paid more than this on ebay. 100 was enough to get my labrador house trained and a few left over.

i haven't got a dog, obviously.

These were really good when house training my puppy, well up to a certain point when my pup missed the pad each time as she was abit big for them or thought if she got her frunt paws on then that was gud enuf. Brilliant price, i paid loads mre for these at the time.

If only they made these for toddlers

These pads are now £7 at some branches of ASDA, I stocked up after already buying a £10 box. Hopefully they'll see us through housetraining our 9 week old chocolate lab Fudge. Newspaper was ok but is awful to pick up when soppy and wet, the pads are easy to fold the wet bit in and the waterproof backing protects the floor so no mopping (unless pup misses or gets the edges). These are brill at a great price.

just thought I'd give a helpful tip if you don't use these or they do wee on floor use a non bio to clean it up with in your mop bucket as they can't smell where they have been the last time also I was told a drop of white white vinigar in the bucket was helpful It did work for me I never even used these!

You can use puppy pads to line part of a bed, you'd probaaly need 2, but that's not a bad price.
We did it, but then got some proper incontinence bed pads from Help The Aged. Of course since then his nappy hasn't leaked once, and I bought a huge box...
But we'll be having another go at night training soon!

you could use these for toddlers, and its certainly cheaper than the pampers bed mats!

I 2nd the incontinence pads for the same use though! I bought loads from our local shop-mobility and i useed them for housetraining the dog, in the carsets when daughter was toilet training on long journeys, under the sheet on the bed to protect the mattress, when i was pregnant with son - incase my waters broke in bed, and now i use them to stand wet/muddy boots on to dry off in bad weather!

I use them as changing mats sometimes and they're great to let baby kick around with no nappy on.

I've been browsing HUKD for some time, but this is my first post, so please go easy on me.

My mother in law bought a box of these last week, I think she got them for £7 in her local Asda. The dogs urine ran straight off them, they were considerably poorer quality that ones I used when I was training our dog.

I'd recommend if your house training a puppy newspaper is probably as good an alternative to these, and if you want to use training pads go for something a bit more substancial, The ones I used where like nappies with a lock in core, I got them from Jollyes and they came in a purple box, I think the brand was Cheeko.
Another tip, although my dog is far from getting to that age, they are also meant to be good for older dogs with bladder problems.

2 weeks to train my choco lab - they learn very quickly - often without strange products like this.

I assume these 'work' in the house - if so, isn't it a better idea to simply discourage them to go the loo in the house and lift them outside as soon as they start?

Personally, I think these are a waste of money.

I am looking for a chocolate or golden/cream labrador pup (male). Where can I find a reputable breeder to sell me one? Will buy these when I go to Asda. Should start stocking up accessories before the dog comes. Heat added!
