unfortunately this price was only supposed to be available to people with an Affinity membership as I posted a link to it in that thread. The funniest part is I later found out I had a legitimate one whereas some people tried to cheat Sharp and failed though some did get it. The great thing about that deal is you also got a 5 year warranty and Blue Ray player for extra £100 with that deal also but again only Affinity members

as I thought it would, voted cold though funnily enough it went straight up to 8 degrees but now it's sub zero
 are some HKUD's just seeing the £1000 price tag for a large TV and nothing more?. . I hope you aren't comparing this to the power guzzling 50" plasmas for £700ish and thinking it's expensive  as I mentioned if voting cold please tell us why as I'd love to find a 52 inch 1920x1080p LCD with 100Hz technology along with 24 frames per second compatibility for less than £1000 from a big name supplier here's a link to find it cheaper, best I saw after clicking a few links was nowhere near £1000 from some dodgy website http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=lc5...ient=firefox-a I'd personally like the 52LG7000 as I was impressed with the 42LG7000 as it's also got 100Hz etc but it's a bit more pricey  Last edited by MackemLad : 16-01-2009 at 16:10. |

Hot from me seems a good deal. (expire deal)so any ideas why so many cold votes (-42 at one point) while it was in stock? I'd honestly like to know why as I was debating buying one rather than holding out for the 52LG7000 (currently around £1300 in price). Either people voted cold yesterday because they thought it was expensive as they are comparing to other 50Hz TV's but forgetting the fact that any LCD 1080p TV over 50" with 100HZ isn't less than £1000. Also after searching this TV is a few £100 cheaper than anywhere else and apparently performs well here's a link to a selection of other 52" TV's with 100Hz and you will see none are less than £1000 http://www.idealo.co.uk/cat/4012F497...rtKey=minPrice if you change the options on that website, most LCD's even with 50Hz are around £1000 or more, it's the majority of 50" Plasmas that are from £650 onwards so I feel this is probably why people are voted this way It's a shame as I thought this was a good deal but I like to be pushed to buy something and I was hoping for some words of wisdom or links to other sets. Not one cold voter had the decency to say why  .
