FOUND BY: Copperface 10 months, 5 days ago

STARTS: 17/01/2009

Been looking for a mid range sat nav for a while and seen this which appears to be over £200 elsewhere. Lovely looking unit and love the maps interface.
Good price cut by Amazon so may take this up myself although I'm now so confused about which one to get.
May help someone though.

Apparently this is aimed at challenging the ToTom Go 730 - it is however £40 cheaper and i think that £20 gets you two years of map updates for the one payment, although I can't see this on the website.
Lane assist looks good too. Main thing though is this current price.....Is a TTG730 really £40 better and when you add that to the £20 two year map updates I'm nearly convinced.

Remember to activate the TMC (so it works in the UK) will cost you £40 but I am not that convinced TMC is that useful.

The main point is the two year map update offer for £20, as this is the key point in a SAT NAV unit!

The lane assist also seems to work on this unlike others such as the TomToms. At least it will be up-to-date with the Navigon Fresh Maps feature.

Ended up buying this and i'm glad i did. Navigon CS is excellent and the software dead easy to use.
Two years map updates for £15 with the included voucher - cracking.
Great little unit, accurate and sleek and very upgradeable if required.
Can recommend it.
