Looking at the messages below Ive decided to post some more information:

Basically if you are 16-25 you can buy a 16-25 railcard, which gives you 1/3 off travel. If you already have your 16-25 Rail card, then you can go to http://www.studentdiscounts.co.uk/ and register for a free student discount card using your 16-26 railcard number. You will need to pay £1.75 P&P
Once you have registered online you will get access to a range of on line discount codes.
I hope this makes a bit more sense now :)

I don't understand your post.

First you link to the 16-25 railcard - which is a railcard and not a free student discount card - as you need to pay for it to get 1/3 off rail fares, and it's not limited to students. (unless you're over 26 and in full time education)

Then the actual link is a completely different site and you need to pay P&P for it?

As far as I can see - all the discounts shown are available just by showing your student ID - and not an NUS card - so don't know why anyone would pay for one of these at all????

As far as I know you can still get a student railcard when aged over 25 if you have a valid ISIC card.

Mis-advertised here...

You get a free student discount card if you ALREADY HAVE a Young Person's Railcard.

So its actually £24 + £1.75 for a discount card that is probably fairly useless, since you already get a discount most places by showing your NUS card.
