Hi Jase71, Thank you. That's the one. Beat me to it. Image wouldn't post initially.

There's a cheaper alternative to this on Maplin.co.uk:

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...8689&criteria=

- This one isn't in stock and doesn't include an LCD screen with caller ID. Other than that this IP Phone probably works the same way as Catalogue No. A84GC.

Not being picky or anything but has anyone heard of a wireless Skype phone with an ear piece a la mobile phone.

Heard once that wireless phones work on the same principle as mobiles' so have the same effect (or not!). Also I am very lazy and with calls so cheap . . .

(sorry should this go in a forum??)

Or this one from Tesco at £29.97 with £5 of credit.

http://buy.tescointernetphone.com/de...?idProduct=669

The Tesco Internet Phone service itself has severe drawbacks, but certainly their cheaper corded USB phone can easily be used with services such as Skype and other VOIP providers by downloading new drivers from another internet site.

I think their phone looks nicer thatn the Maplin one too!

The cheaper maplins one also quotes it's range as being a mere 10m (as opposed to 300m for the more expensive and tesco models)...

Personally I'm waiting for the WiFi versions of these to come down in price £100 and falling at the moment.
