Firstly, that is for PS3 this is for Xbox 360.
Secondly, there seems to be some confusion over whether the deal is actually on - in fact, there is an abundance of people and stores saying the deal doesn't exist - if it's nationwide or store by store basis, and even then with it being Sainsburys the availability is going to be pretty poor.

This is for the 360 version, and there are LOADS available

Gotta be cold for me, like most Zavvi deals at the moment - they might not even be in existance in a few weeks, what if you have to return it faulty??!!
Too risky in my opinion.

zavvi deals are hardly nationwide anymore since they have closed so many stores already-whether its a hot deal or not really depends on whether the sainsburys one is confirmed or not.

Its been this price in Zavvi Chester for some time now, a couple of weeks at least. Theyre piled up to the roof so i expect they will be reduced again before long.

Everything about the Guitar Hero World Tour hardware is risky! Red Octane only supply a 90 day warranty on hardware anyway, direct from them.

And to be honest they are fine using their "short" warranty, I ordered the free Midi Cable for mine to fine tune the sensitivity of the drum kit, processed warranty claim on a sunday, the midi cable was with me by wednesday.

£112.49 is a very good price, it doesnt matter what retailer you buy from when warranteed albeit for 90 days with the manufacturer.

Hot from me, cant buy cheaper on the High St, and if faulty out the box, its not like as yet Zavvi are in their last 5 days of opening.

Have you managed to find it cheaper anywhere else? If so please let us know. As far as I can see this is significantly cheaper than anywhere else, online or offline.

I guess if you don't mind the hassle of returning it to the manufacturer rather than just popping into the store that you bought it from and getting a replacement on the spot................then knock yourself out!

Doesnt bother me at all mate, I bought it on release day preordered from Gamestation, trading in games bought cheap at Comet to knock down the price, selling on the free wired controller and then selling that on and getting another cheap wireless GH:WT guitar back, so had it for a bargain price myself.

Just cannot understand personally the cold voting going on for buying it new from a retailer thats not yet closed (so can be returned in the first instance) and further warranteed (albeit shortly) by Red Octane.

If you havent already bought it, then if you dont trust buying it from a retailer in admin, buy elsewhere, I personally voted this deal hot because its the cheapest currently people can buy it that dont own it!

I dont see the necessity to knock myself out.

Seriously though,if you dont trust it, spend the extra elsewhere(if you dont already own it), if still available at Asda get it for just £18 more (which isnt a great deal more than this, or pay the extra £30 everywhere else)

But to be honest, besides drum sensitivity issues (mine had this with the cymbals) the midi cable is an essential order from red octane anyway, for fine tweaking, the guitar besides initial bedding in, has been fine, and there have been little other concerns from customers regarding hardware.

*EDIT* Actually both the wireless GH:WT guitars I have had needed bedding in, buttons can be a little sticky to start with and both guitars strum bars squeaked, a little application as shown on YouTube of WD40 (sprayed onto a cotton bud...NOT directly, then smeared over both edges of the strum bar) and about 6 hours of play on each guitar cured this.

Zavvi havent closed yet, so if faulty, unless really low on stocks in your local, and you are prepared to test it out as soon as you get home, there is really little to worry about currently, could understand concerns if like Woolies you bought it in the last 5 days of opening.

Umm... isn't that illegal? Doesn't it have to be 12 months in the UK?
