I presume you're still buying DVDs though, yes?
The actual market share is very difficult to pin point, but I think you'll find most industry experts put it somewhere between 4.5 and 8%, not 1%.
Until broadband speeds and download limits increase significantly, the download market is hardly going to thrive, so I suspect it will be much longer than a 'couple of years'.
