It's OK for an XP machine but by the time you upgrade RAM + HD you can probably buy a better notebook for the same money. Doesn't say whether it's new and how long the warranty is.

Rather slow but still decent cpu - yonah core if I remember. Good deal, fast enough for comfortable browsing/office.

Yep, but as I say, if you only have £200 to spent then it's all you have.

You'd probably be faster connecting an external USB graphics card. Seriously.

Bit of a weak laptop !!!
I agree.
Both of my sons bought an Amilo Pro and on both, the hinges broke. One a 15.4" and one a 17".

I've had the amilo L720 for about 2 years now.
I boosted ram to 1gb but wouldn't want to try Vista on it.
I'm happy with it which is a shame as i can't justify getting a new lappy.
I'd say it's "Adequate".

first of all repped op for the excellent spot and ordered one.

i personally think this is a very good deal because

1. weak pound exchange rate means it is very difficult to find a BRAND NEW laptop for around £200 mark
2. as other poster suggest, the cpu is a bit weak but will be fine for general office/ browsing use, etc
3. excellent starter for people who are on budget
4. "netbook" price laptop

i missed out on the acer last time so i am very happy manage to bag one this time.

Listed below is their website for the UK sale but you'll need to know the exact model number for getting an idea on the cost but the shipping is free with them.

Heat and rep left, as this is a good find especially considering the price but also the fact that it comes with a Windows XP operating system that sets you back at least £65.00p (for the Home Edition) when purchased separately.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!
