Thanks for sharing, quick question - how does it connect to the TV (I have a Sony 32V4000) ? Many thanks in advance, as this is the first time as I have seen one of these.

On the yellow, red and white slots of your tv. Same as you do for your camcorder etc. I hope this is of some help. Thanks

I don't think so never tried. According to specification,
"Motion JPEG, MPEG-1 (QVGA resolution/up to 8 frames per second) and MP3 (up to 32 Kbps)"
Thanks

Good for those that dont have a games console such as a Wii or Xbox 360 that can both do photo viewing, and surprisingly not much more in price than a decent multicard reader.

Hot price indeed!

Interesting bit of kit and seems a bargain at this price. Heat and rep added.

About to buy one, but then read this on Amazon:

If you think you can simply remove the SD card from your camera and use this device to view the photos on it, think again. I have a 7megapixel camera, so the pictue files are quite large. I use an SDHC card, which this device can't read. Copying the files on to a normal SD card seems to work, but is PAINFULLY SLOW at displaying the photos and after displaying a few photos it simply hangs. Finally - the remote control is quite useless. Pressing a button on it usually does nothing for about half a minute, then, when you've just about given up waiting, it either hangs, or (if you're lucky) responds. In short, this device is basically useless.

Maybe not.
