John Kricfalusi broke new ground in television comedy with his 1990s cartoon series REN AND STIMPY. Centred on the misadventures of a high-strung chihuahua and his dim-witted feline companion, REN & STIMPY rendered fourth-grade-level gross-out jokes about mucus, flatulence, tooth decay, and other bodily functions in an uncomfortably graphic style of animation that invited both laughter and squirms of revulsion. Kricfalusi's edgy humour quickly vaulted the series into the highest echelons of cult fandom; and although he left the show after only two series, his legacy can still be felt in cartoons ranging from SOUTH PARK to SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS. This collection features every episode of the third series and a number from Series 4.

These are awful; a million miles away from the first two seasons when John Kricfalusi and Spumco were in charge and genuinely made some innovative and funny cartoons.

From season 3 onwards, these were made by soulless Nickelodeon executive hacks, who gradually ran the show into the ground.

The first 2 seasons are brilliant, sadly you can't find them uncut. The ones that promote themselves as uncut, are not. It's like Tom and Jerry all over again. It did lose a lot of its edge after season 2 but still worth it if you have the others.

OK - my bad - I only have first two seasons - It's just that they're on 3 discs so I can't comment on season 3.

Mine were procured from the states (region 1) - advertised as 'uncut' - ie "unaltered, uncut & untamed - in the Way John K always wanted you to see them"
.... and has 'parental advisory' warning stating 'adult language' etc has 'banned' episode included (Man's best friend) and un-editted versions of 'Sven Hoek, Big House Blues, Dog Show & Powdered Toast Man.

If these are 'cut' I'd LOVE to se the uncut ones..

Are you saying that my discs have been editted despite 'hunners' of stuff of the boxes saying to the contrary ? Ohh wooee !
